How do I book an event?

  • Contact Heidi at creativeadventuresforkids@gmail.com to schedule the date and time of your event.  You can also call 207-653-6502

  • Complete the Profile Sheet with the information requested and return to the email above.  Once the details have been determined, an Event Agreement will be required along with a 50% nonrefundable deposit.

  • Confirm the final number of participants at least 1-2 weeks in advance.

  • The remaining  balance is payable on/by the day of the event.  Checks and/or cash are preferred but credit cards are accepted.  Checks should be made payable to Creative Adventures for Kids, LLC.  If paying by credit card, an additional 3% processing fee will be added.

 

What do clients need to provide?

  • Clients will need to provide the venue along with workspace (table and chairs).  An extra table for supplies will be provided by Creative Adventures so a space to hold a 6 ft. table will be helpful.

  • Creative Adventures will provide table covers to protect work surfaces.  Aprons/smocks will also be provided for participants for those activities that may be messy.  If worried about clothing, we recommend your child not wear good or fancy clothes, just in case.

 

How far in advance do I need to book the event?

  • The sooner the better to ensure that the date and time you want is available.  The final number of participants is required at least 2 weeks in advance so that all project supplies are available and ready for a super fun event!

 

What is the cost and what does it include?

  • The cost depends on the project chosen and the number of participants.  Prices are listed with each project and are for up to 10 participants.  Additional participants can be added for $15 each. 

  • The cost includes travel within a 20 mile radius of Topsham, Maine.  For locations beyond the 20 mile radius a $.50 per mile feel will be charged.

What if my child wants a special project?

  • If the client wants a new project developed that is not on the menu, an hourly rate of $20 will be charged to create the project and determine the cost per person for supplies.

 

Cancellation and refund policy

The number of participants needs to be confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the event.  

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure the time and date.  If paying by check, payment must be received within 3 days of the reservation or the date and time will be considered available for other bookings.

 

In the event of an emergency, if the client is unable to hold the party as scheduled, the deposit can be transferred once to reserve a new date and time.
